K.I.D.S. Church
( Kids In Divine Service )
Train up a child in the way he should go, even when he is old he will not depart from it.
Proverbs 22:6
We welcome you and your children to Christ Full Gospel Fellowship’s K.I.D.S. programs, (Kids In Divine Service).
We believe that children are our most valuable resource and are dedicated to encouraging spiritual and social
growth in them.
Our mission is to provide the best possible care, comfort, safety, guidance, and instruction using age
appropriate materials, to help each child grow in a personal relationship with Jesus.
The Bible is our text book, and we use other books and printed material, programs, videos,
puppets, and games as resources to bring the teachings of the Bible alive in the minds and hearts of our children.
Our adult and teen volunteers are trained in child safety and security as well as basic Christian principles.
They are living examples, demonstrating the love of God to our children.
The volunteers help us to fulfill our goal of letting each child know that they are loved and have value,
and nurture each one as they grow in their faith.
At Christ Full Gospel Fellowship we believe that the best for anyone is to develop a personal
relationship with God through His Son Jesus Christ, by the leading of His Holy Spirit.
We desire the best for each child. To help us bring each child into relationship with Jesus,
we have divided the K.I.D.S. ministry into several different and distinct groups.
In Grandma’s House we spend the first two years of your child’s life focusing on making the
initial experience of church a positive and safe one. As our desire is for the child to learn
God’s love at the earliest opportunity, we always begin with lots of hugs for the little ones.
The time is spent sharing simple Bible stories and songs about Jesus. We have yet to decide who has more fun,
the little ones or the volunteers.
After Grandma’s house until five years old, all the children are on board in Noah’s Ark
where the priority is for the young child to enjoy learning about God and the life He offers through His Son Jesus.
We introduce preschoolers to their heavenly Father through His Word.
By example they are encouraged to discover God’s love in His creation.
By the time the children are five they will have learned the basic stories of the old Testament,
starting with creation, and also the life of Christ. Through a wide variety of Bible learning activities,
like games, puzzles, books, and videos, our children are taught the truth of God’s love at their
level of comprehension by trained, caring volunteers.
Our goal for the child between six and twelve is to have fun as they are challenged to grow
spiritually in both Grand Central Station and “E” Town.
Through a systematic study of the Bible these young people are encouraged to explore the Word
of God and how it can be applied to their lives.
We strive for a well rounded ministry of instruction, evangelism, discipleship, Bible memory,
outreach events, mission projects, worship, sports activities, special events and ministry opportunities.
We believe that children are a gift from the Lord, (Psalm 127:3).
We plan to make Christ Full Gospel Fellowship one of the most exciting places for children to be.
We want them to not only grow spiritually, but also have fun just being a child.
We know that parents are the primary teachers for their children, but we sure love to help.
That is why we have the J.A.M. (Jesus And Me) program on Tuesday nights at 7:30.
This evening of fun and games has become the highlight of many of the children’s week.
J.A.M. has seven points of focus.
